International Credit Union Day

To celebrate International Credit Union Day, P1FCU hosted free shred days at four of their branches, enjoyed some festive decorating and handed our snacks an swag all day long. Since it’s the 75th anniversary of International Credit Union Day, they also wore all sorts of old P1FCU shirts from years past. Here’s what some of our branches said in response to the question, “What does the credit union difference mean to you?”:

“The main difference that sets us apart is that our members can always ‘fall back’ on us! We aren’t just a financial institution; we are a financial family with deep roots in our communities that let us empower our members!”

“The overall values of a credit union create a strong sense of community among members and employees alike, making everyone feel like they are part of something bigger. Additionally, each branch can establish a personal connection with every member who walks through the doors.”

“A fruitful harvest! Producing fruit by building trust and friendships and giving to the needs of our community.”

“The credit union difference guides co-workers to become a family, a job to become a career, and it’s what gives us the confidence to come to work each day knowing that what we do and who we are is appreciated and valued.”

“As a credit union, we are ‘not for profit, not for charity, but for service.’ Being member-owned, we stand committed to the financial well-being of every member.
