I just wanted to share a strategy I stumbled upon today, which probably fits under the “Make a friend, make a member” philosophy from FSI. I was out on an aisle walk and saw someone at the $5 movie bin—which is one of my favorite places to stop in Walmart! I walked over and asked him if there was anything good in the bin today, and ended up talking about his daughter and how Reliant can help set her up for an awesome financial future (she wants to be a veterinarian). Another Walmart shopper joined us, just as I found one of my favorite movies, and the three of us ended up in a little “competition” to see if we could find a better DVD. As we were talking about movies, I was able to give both shoppers information.
