Desiree Crothers, teller at the Lakewood Walmart #3537 in‐store branch of America’s Credit Union in Seattle, WA was promoted to Member Service Representative in June 2012. On the same day, she conducted a “Welcome to Walmart” session for new Walmart employees. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the credit union and invite the new employees to become members. During the meeting, Ms. Crothers made the new employees feel comfortable by asking them to share a little about themselves and the department of Walmart in which they would be working. At the end of the presentation, several of the new employees asked questions regardingmembership as well as the America’s Credit Union product line. It is obvious that Ms. Crothers has worked to build strong retailer relations due to her incredible relationship with the Walmart Personnel Director and theWalmart employees.
