Using Willy Wonka’s golden ticket and Valentine hearts, a bi-fold poster display was created and placed in Walmart’s breakroom.
Each month, we create a themed promotion board for Walmart employees and post it in their breakroom. The bi-fold presentation board always houses entry slips that require the staff member to visit the branch for a treat or raffle entry.
Our goal was to make regular touchpoints with Walmart employees in an effort to build relationships. We offer bonus entries if they share their birthday or Walmart anniversary date. We celebrate any milestones by delivering personalized cards signed by our staff and a cupcake.
In January and February (2018), we received 14 reasons to celebrate Walmart employees who are not currently members with us. We have also had many employees inquire about the cupcake deliveries, which has generated additional interest in our breakroom postings.
