Using a birthday party theme, we decorated with balloons, flowers, banners, and posters.
For the staff’s attire, the guys were encouraged to wear their favorite party tie or bow tie, and the ladies wore their favorite party jewelry/accessories.
It has been one year since our Food City branches opened. We celebrated Thursday, Jan. 25, and Friday, Jan. 26. We had cookies for members and shoppers, a balloon bouquet from the Food City florist, banners, kazoos, and birthday hats purchased from Food City.
Our goal was to draw attention to our 1-year anniversary and to celebrate a successful first year for TVFCU in-store branches.
The celebration created shopper awareness and curiosity. They stopped by all day asking, “Whose birthday is it?” This question opened up the conversation to let them know we were in the store. We reminded them that we are a full-service branch, with extended hours, and conveniently located in their Food City!
