Testimonial—Quality Conversations

I have gone out of my way to have a “quality” conversation everyday. It has been much easier to be out connecting with potential members. I had a great conversation last week with a Walmart customer named Judy who lives in Naples. I spoke with her for about 10 minutes about the advantages and disadvantages of a credit union as compared to a bank. She was hoping to switch her financial institution and was greatly impressed and intrigued by our low rates and shared branching network. She did not open an account, but I gave her all of our rates and information and she was going to stop in to Canadaigua because she doesn’t usually come all the way to Geneva. It was one of the better conversations and it just started by her asking what a credit union was. I liked the progression of the conversation into what we could do for her. I strive to have conversations like this every day.
